More and more problems arise that simply cannot be solved by replacing or repairing individual components such as the idle speed control, air flow sensor, control unit, ignition distributor, etc. The wiring in our buses has been installed for at least 33 years and, especially in the engine compartment, is exposed to significant temperature fluctuations. Corrosion under the insulation and corroded connectors/contacts are commonplace and often difficult to locate. It's easier to replace the entire wiring harness, which will save that area for the next 30 years.

Setting to factory settings
The old MAF must be sent in, then rebuilt and returned. The MAF should be cleaned. MAFs are not cleaned or reconditioned externally, as this is irrelevant to their function.
In individual cases, a rebuilt air intake manifold can also be shipped in advance against a deposit for the old part. Please contact us in advance via the contact form. We generally do not like to do this, as it can lead to discrepancies.
If desired, a new 3D printed black lid can also be installed (+10 CHF).
